More disappointing news for IVAW- WITH TSO IS RETARDED UPDATE

UPDATE: Um yeah, so the IVAW thing is Thursday not wednesday. So, I will have to take 2 days off of work. Oh, and mark up is the day before the testimony, so, there is now ZERO chance that the testimony will have any impact. But you rock on with your dog und pony show.

The House Armed Services Committee announces the following schedule for the week of May 12 – May 16, 2008:

Wednesday, May 14, 2008 – 10:00 am – 2118 Rayburn – Open, May Close

The full committee will mark up the following legislation: H.R. 5658 – To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2009 for military activities of the Department of Defense, to prescribe military personnel strengths for fiscal year 2009, and for other purposes.

Damn man, this is in the middle of your totally awesome not at all ridiculous testimony! They aren't even waiting to hear what you have to say. What a crying shame. The temerity of Congress not to wait until the incredibly amazing Montalvan has weighed in.
